महाशिवरात्रि की शाम महाकाल की नगरी उज्जैन लाखों दीयों से जगमगा उठी. उज्जैन में शिव ज्योति अर्पणम कार्यक्रम में क्षिप्रा नदी के तट पर एक साथ 18 लाख 82 हजार दीये जलने का रिकॉर्ड बना है.

On the evening of Mahashivratri, Ujjain, the city of Mahakal, lit up with lakhs of lamps. A record has been made for lighting 18 lakh 82 thousand diyas simultaneously on the banks of the Kshipra river in the Shiv Jyoti Arpanam program in Ujjain.
