महाराष्ट्र चुनाव में बीजेपी के महायुति गठबंधन ने शानदार जीत दर्ज की है, जबकि झारखंड में जेएमएम-कांग्रेस गठबंधन को बढ़त हासिल हुई है. महाराष्ट्र की जीत के बाद बीजेपी मुख्यालय में उत्सव का माहौल है. कार्यकर्ताओं का उत्साह बढ़ाने के लिए प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी खुद बीजेपी मुख्यालय पहुंचे. बीजेपी अध्यक्ष जेपी नड्डा ने प्रधानमंत्री मोदी के स्वागत में कहा कि जनता ने समाज को बांटने की राजनीति करने वालों को करारा जवाब दिया है. इस दौरान पीएम मोदी ने कहा कि महाराष्ट्र में विकासवाद की जीत हुई है.पीएम ने कहा कि महाराष्ट्र ने सारे रिकॉर्ड तोड़ दिए हैं, यह पिछले 50 वर्षों में किसी भी पार्टी या चुनाव पूर्व गठबंधन की सबसे बड़ी जीत है. उन्होंने कहा कि महाराष्ट्र में विकास, सुशासन, सच्चे सामाजिक न्याय की जीत हुई है. झूठ, छल बुरी तरह पराजित हुआ है.
