Lok Sabha Election 2024: पश्चिम बंगाल में TMC ने इस बार नुसरत जहां का टिकट काट दिया है और नुसरत जहां की जगह हाजी नुरुल इस्लाम को उम्मीदवार बनाया है। सांसद नुसरत जहां का टिकट कटने की एक बड़ी वजह संदेशखाली की घटना है। क्योंकि जब संदेशखाली की महिलाओं ने शाहजहां शेख पर यौन शोषण के आरोप लगाए तो नुसरत जहां ने शुरुआत में इन आरोपों को गलत बताकर शाहजहां शेख का बचाव किया लेकिन जब मामला बढ़ा तो नुसरत जहां अपने स्टैंड से पीछे हट गई।
