Taal Thok Ke LIVE: उत्तर प्रदेश की बढ़ती जनसंख्या पर चिंता व्यक्त करते हुए, मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ ने सोमवार को कहा कि जनसंख्या नियंत्रण कार्यक्रम को सफलतापूर्वक आगे बढ़ना चाहिए, लेकिन साथ ही "जनसंख्या असंतुलन" की अनुमति नहीं दी जानी चाहिए। 'जनसंख्या नियंत्रण पखवाड़े' की शुरुआत के उपलक्ष्य में एक समारोह में बोलते हुए, मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा, "जब हम परिवार नियोजन / जनसंख्या स्थिरीकरण के बारे में बात करते हैं, तो हमें यह ध्यान रखना होगा कि जनसंख्या नियंत्रण कार्यक्रम को सफलतापूर्वक आगे बढ़ना चाहिए, लेकिन साथ ही साथ समय, जनसंख्या असंतुलन की स्थिति नहीं होने दी जानी चाहिए।" वहीं दूसरी ओर बीजेपी नेता और पूर्व केंद्रीय मंत्री मुख्तार अब्बास नकवी ने इस मामले पर ट्वीट कर लोगों को मानसिकता बदलने की सलाह दी है. उन्होंने ट्वीट कर लिखा है कि, ''बड़ा जनसंख्या विस्फोट किसी धर्म के लिए खतरा नहीं है, यह देश के लिए खतरा है, इसे जाति और धर्म से जोड़ना उचित नहीं है.''

Expressing concerns over the growing population of Uttar Pradesh, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday said population control programme must go ahead successfully but at the same time "population imbalance" should not be allowed to happen. Speaking at a function to mark the commencement of 'population control fortnight', the CM noted, "When we talk about family planning/population stabilisation, we have to keep in mind that the population control programme must go ahead successfully, but at the same time, a situation of population imbalance should not be allowed to happen."

On the other hand, BJP leader and former Union Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi has advised people to change mindset by tweeting on this matter. He has written by tweeting that, "the big population explosion is not a danger for any religion, it is a danger for the country, it is not fair to associate it with caste and religion."
