बस कुछ घंटों में वित्त मंत्री निर्मला सीतारमण बजट पेश करने वाली हैं . आम चुनाव से पहले पेश होने वाले इस बजट पर सबकी निगाहें हैं. हालांकि कहा तो जा रहा है कि अंतरिम बजट है इसलिए लोकलुभावने ऐलान होने की संभावना कम ही है, लेकिन भूलिए मत की ये मोदी सरकार है. ट्रेंड बदलने और सरप्राइस देने में माहिर मोदी सरकार अक्सर अपने फैसलों से सबको दंग करती रही है. उनके फैसलों और कदमों को लेकर अनुमान लगाना मुश्किल होता है. फिर चाहे बात राजनीति की हो या आर्थिक नीतियों की.
बजट की परंपराओं में भी मोदी सरकार ने ऐसे ही कई चौंकाने वाले सरप्राइज दिए. मोदी सरकार के पहले कार्यकाल में बजट की 92 साल पुरानी परपंरा टूटी. फरवरी के आखिरी से पेश होने वाले बजट को 1 फरवरी को पेश किया जाने लगा. मोदी सरकार के दूसरे कार्यकाल में लाल ब्रीफकेस की जगह बहीखाते और टैबलेट ने ले लिया. ऐसे में लोगों के मन में यही आशंका है कि ट्रेंड तोड़ने में माहिर सरकार कही इस अंतरिम बजट में चौंकाएंगी तो नहीं. लोकसभा चुनाव से पहले सरकार बजट के जरिए ग्रोथ की पिच पर बैटिंग कर मोदी 3.0 का रास्ता तैयार कर सकती है.

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is all set to announce the Budget 2024 on February 1 when she is expected to underline and give estimates for revenue, expenditure, financial performance. The FM's Budget speech is scheduled for 11am, during which she will announce the key financial details.

Sitharaman also holds the record of presenting 5 Budgets to her kitty, which is also her fifth straight Budget since 2019.
