Netaji Khauram's Birthday - All are surprised to see Netaji Khauram in Lapataganj. Mukundi and other villagers celebrate Netaji Khauram's Birthday in a unique way and also reveals the truth to all the villagers about the bag full of money that Mama and Elija had found in Lapataganj's store room. Will Khauram apologize to Mukundi?

"Satire is an important and inherent part of Indian humour. Lapataganj season 1 was a very successful attempt at capturing this and bringing satire to the Indian television screens. Lapataganj season 2 aims at carrying forward this legacy and once again meaningfully entertaining the audiences.

The satire in this show is aimed at us, at our society at our politics and our leaders through a fictionalised village called Lapataganj where the common man of India struggles everyday and yet manages to keep a smile on his face. The show will yet again portray the everyday ailments in the life of the common man -- in a very common setup of a typical fictionalised Indian village- Lapataganj. The story proceeds with a leap of 5 years but much like the previous season the people of Lapataganj struggle daily for basic facilities yet residing there happily.
