Kiara Advani is looking forward to the release of her upcoming film Kabir Singh. In the movie, she will be seen romancing Shahid Kapoor, who goes on a path of self-destruction when she breaks up with him.

In the film she will be calling it quits due to family pressure and in real life too she was once forced to break up with her boyfriend by her mother. Kiara recently revealed that she fell in love when she was in 10th standard however, her mother scolded her and told her that she ‘can’t have an affair’ because she was too young and needed to concentrate on her studies. Well, Kiara’s mother is every mother ever.

Kabir Singh is a remake of Telugu super hit Arjun Reddy. It has been directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, who had also helmed the original. Kabir Singh will release on June 21.
