Synopsis: A Parsi widower Homi Mistry (Ashok Kumar) is about to retire and lives in a small residence with his four sons. He decides to remarry considering that he may need emotional support and someone to take care of the house and his sons.His friend Soli (David Abraham Cheulkar) introduces him to a Parsi widow Nargis Sethna (Pearl Padamsee), Nargis has one daughter and two sons.
