As per the latest buzz, Karan Johar is eager to sign Deepika Padukone on for three films.

Considering the fact that DP has delivered four back-to-back blockbuster films last year including Johar's Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, we aren't surprised. With this, reports about Ms Padukone replacing Kareena Kapoor Khan as Karan Johar's favourite heroine have started doing the rounds.

However, Karan has gone on record saying "Even though she (Kareena) may have her share of ups and downs as an actress, she will always be a movie star. You can't take that away from her. She is born with it. Acting is in her DNA. And obviously shes a Dharma favourite." '

Also, she will be in Shuddhi with Hrithik Roshan, one of KJo's most ambitious projects.
