The 59th Idea Filmfare Awards was quite a grand night. Held at Mumbai's YRF Studio, it saw many a heart touching moments.

Farhan Akhtar impressed everyone with his portrayal of the Flying Sikh Milha Singh in Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's Bhaag Milkha Bhaag in 2013. When Farhan Akhtar received his award for Best Actor, we saw his mother Honey Irani tear up. "I'm so happy my mom is here. She used to tell me that I hung around Bandra wearing no shoes and what am I doing in my life. Mom, see what all that barefoot running got me." Even KJo gave him a tight hug and said, "I've grown up with you and I had no idea you'd ever win anything!"

Farhan has sure proved everyone wrong!
