Prime Minister Narendra Modi began his second term in office on Thursday as he took oath of secrecy along with his council of ministers.

The who’s who of the nation along with dignitaries from across the world attended the event. Several Bollywood celebrities like Karan Johar, Kangana Ranaut, Anil Kapoor, Asha Bhosle, Shahid Kapoor, Rajkumar Hirani, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, Aanand L Rai, Anupam Kher and Rajinikanth among others cheered for the PM and his cabinet ministers.

A still has now surfaced, which has got tongues wagging. The selfie was taken by Karan Johar but what surprised everyone was Kangana’s presence in it. If you hadn’t been living under a rock you surely must be knowing about the fight between the two.

It all began with Kangana calling KJo the ‘Flagbearer of Nepotism’ on his show Koffee With Karan. A war of words ensued between the duo after that and they left no opportunity to take digs at each other on public platforms. This selfie makes us believe that they might be ready to extend the olive branch.

Kangana was a vision in white at the swearing-in ceremony. She wore a white and gold Raw Mango sari for the star-studded event. KJo shared a group photograph, which showed him posing with other actors, including Kangana, who were present at the ceremony.



Along with the image, he wrote, "Congratulations again, Hon Prime Minister @narendramodi and many thanks for inviting me to be part of this momentous day. It is a time of great consequence for India as you continue to lead her to a position of global power, in all spheres. As a proud Indian, I bask in the accolades that I hear for India in my travels across the globe. I wish you all the best as you begin chapter two of your role in this prestigious office. To those watching India, I would love to add—picture abhi baki hai. #JaiHind."
