In this Bollywood Hungama exclusive 'Musically Yours' interview with Content Head Broadband Faridoon Shahryar, music composer Jeet Gannguli talks about his love for music, guidance given by his dad, music composer Kali Ganguly, and his beginnings in the world of music. He talks about his experience of composing the title song of 'Khamoshiyan' and how he managed to successfully crack the 'sound of silence'. He also talks highly of Mukesh and Mahesh Bhatt's musical sense. He speaks about his songs 'Baatein Ye Kabhi Na' from 'Khamoshiyan' and 'Chahun Main Ya Na' from 'Aashiqui 2' and even hums few lines from these tracks. He admits that the songs of 'Citylights' were composed after the film's shooting was completed and that the song 'Muskurane' was conceptualized after a special request from producer Mukesh Bhatt. He then reveals that his two popular songs - 'Suno Na Sangemarmar' from 'Youngistaan' and 'Jo Tere Sang' from 'Blood Money' were originally composed in Bangla. He then hums not only the Hindi versions but also the Bengali versions of both the songs - 'Ki Kore Toke Bolbo' from 'Rangbaaz' and Khujechi Toke Raat Berate' from 'Josh'. Finally, he shares exclusive details about his upcoming films - 'Phir Se', 'Mr X' and 'Hamari Adhuri Kahani'. Don't miss!
