15 January is a very important day for the Indian Army. The Indian Army is celebrating its 73rd Foundation Day today. This is known as 'Army Day'. The Indian Army was completely liberated from the British Army on today itself i.e. on 15 January 1949.

15 जनवरी भारतीय सेना के लिए बहुत महत्वपूर्ण दिन है। भारतीय सेना आज अपना 73 वां स्थापना दिवस मना रही है। इसे 'सेना दिवस' के रूप में जाना जाता है। भारतीय सेना पूरी तरह से ब्रिटिश सेना से आज ही के दिन यानी 15 जनवरी 1949 को आजाद हुई थी।
