Jai Ho Movie Review
by
Salman's Khan's Jai Ho is provocative and has our Bollywood star showcasing the theme of 'common man against the system'.
Jai Ho is a story of an Ex-army officer Jai Agnihotri (Salman Khan who believes in helping others and encourages them to help more people, forming an ever growing circle of people helping each other. On his verge he faces the anger of the local powerful politician (Danny Denzongpa) who is miffed by his noble move. As he gears up to fight the system, The local politician tries to target Jai's mother (Nadira Babbar) and sister Geeta (Tabu). This is when the public, which he has helped in the past, gathers force and finally has a voice which cannot be silenced.
Since it's a Salman Khan film, expect some smashing action sequences, but the noble cause of the film is preserved by director Sohail Khan despite that.
Debutant Daisy Shah doesn't have too much to do but is convincing in her portrayal of her character. Danny Dengzongpa is a delight to watch as a villain.
Unsurprisingly, Salman Khan takes the lead among all other actors in the movie.
Music by Sajid-Wajid is good and background score by Sandeep Shirodkar is brilliant.
Jai Ho is a sure shot entertainer, with a genuine strong message
We give it 4 out of 5 stars.
