Tabu was reportedly offered a role by Zoya Akhtar in her next film, Dil Dhadakne Do (tentative title), which stars Ranveer Singh, Priyanka Chopra and Anushka Sharma. And guess what? She turned down the offer. Why? That's because she thought that she didn't suit the part. Apparently, Tabu was offered to play 31 year old Priyanka's mother, but the Cheeni Kum actor was not comfortable with the role.

She is a star and has a wide repertoire of roles that have been appreciated by fans and critics alike. She felt that Priyanka's mother's role didn't fit in with what she is currently looking out for," a source was quoted by a tabloid.

Looks like Tabu is not yet game to play an onscreen mommy considering she is reportedly being paired opposite Shahid Kapoor for Vikas Bahl's (director of Kangana Ranaut's Queen) next film. Yes, that's an unconventional pairing, but then maybe that's what Tabu is "looking out for", right?
