Irada Movie Trailer Review | Arshad Warsi, Naseeruddin Shah

Arshad Warsi and Naseeruddin Shah, who had teamed up twice in the past for ‘Ishqiya’ and ‘Dedh Isqhiya’ will come together once again for ‘Iraada’, a mystery thriller and the trailer of the film was revealed recently.

When an explosion destroys a factory, the Chief Minister ropes in an eccentric NIA officer (played by Arshad Warsi) to investigate the matter and his investigations bring him in touch with a retired military officer (played by Shah), who seeks revenge for the death of his daughter and a journalist (Sagarika Ghatge), who wants justice for her murdered boyfriend. However, nothing is as it seems and Warsi’s character has to encounter many twists and turns in order to find the truth.

The trailer strongly reminded us of Wazir starring Farhan Akhtar and Amitabh Bachchan (specially the scenes where Warsi and Shah’s characters are seen discussing philosophy over drinks) and we wonder if the film will lead us down trodden paths.

Directed by Aparnaa Singh, ‘Iraada’ is slated to release on February 17.
