अफगानिस्तान में तालिबान शासन ने ईरान में भारत निर्मित चाबहार बंदरगाह के उपयोग का समर्थन किया है और कहा है कि वह सभी आवश्यक "सुविधाएं" प्रदान करने के लिए तैयार है।

A statement issued by the Taliban's foreign ministry "welcomed" the proposal to include the Chabahar port in the North-South International Transport Corridor that links Mumbai with Moscow and passes through Iran and Azerbaijan.The statement highlighted that the regime is "ready to provide all necessary security and facilities in this regard." The Taliban statement came after the India-Central Asia National Security Advisor meeting in Delhi this week.
