भारत और कनाडा के बीच खालिस्‍तान को लेकर एक बार फिर से तनाव चरम स्‍तर पर पहुंच गया है। एक रिपोर्ट की मानें तो कनाडा में करीब 250 गुरुद्वारे हैं लेकिन इनमें से सिर्फ आठ ही ऐसे हैं जिन पर खालिस्‍तानी संगठनें का नियंत्रण है। इंटेलीजेंस सूत्रों की तरफ से कहा जा रहा है कि देश में बसे सिख खालिस्‍तान आंदोलन का समर्थन नहीं करते हैं। वहीं यह बात भी सच है कि कनाडा वह देश है जहां पर पाकिस्‍तान की इंटेलीजेंस एजेंसी आईएसआई और चीन की कम्‍युनिस्‍ट पार्टी का अच्‍छा-खासा प्रभाव है। ऐसे में निज्‍जर की हत्‍या को गैंगवॉर का नतीजा भी मान जा रहा है।
