यूनाइटेड किंगडम के प्रधान मंत्री, ऋषि सुनक ने क्रिसमस की छुट्टियों के मौसम के दौरान "विशेष रूप से क्रूर समय पर" हड़ताल करने के लिए रविवार को ट्रेड यूनियनों को फटकार लगाते हुए कहा कि उन्होंने लाखों लोगों को कठिनाई में डाल दिया है। सरकार ने हड़ताली श्रमिकों को कवर करने और आवश्यक सेवाओं को बनाए रखने के लिए लगभग 1,200 सैनिकों का उपयोग करने की योजना की भी घोषणा की ।

Rishi Sunak, the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, slammed trade unions on Sunday for striking "at a particularly cruel time" during the Christmas holiday season, saying they have put millions of people in hardship. The government also announced plans to use about 1,200 soldiers to cover striking workers and maintain essential services.
