वहीं पाकिस्तान के रक्षा मंत्री ख्वाजा मुहम्मद आसिफ ने कहा है की " देश की न्यायपालिका के 75 साल के इतिहास में ऐसी घटनाएं हुई हैं, जिनका देश पर गहरा प्रभाव पड़ा है, लेकिन हाल ही में न्यायपालिका में एक समूह ने एक राजनीतिक समूह का समर्थन करना शुरू कर दिया है । समय आ गया है कि संसद संविधान द्वारा दिए गए अधिकार और कानून के तहत सर्वोच्च न्यायिक परिषद को कदाचार का संदर्भ भेजे। समय आ गया है कि संसद इस स्थिति में अपनी संवैधानिक भूमिका निभाए "
ये सब महज़ बयानों पर खत्म नहीं होता, पाकिस्तान की संसद ने इमरान खान के पक्ष में फैसला सुनाने वाले मुख्य न्यायाधीश के खिलाफ मामला दर्ज करने के लिए समिति बनाने के प्रस्ताव को अपना लिया है ।
