पाकिस्तान के पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री इमरान ख़ान को करप्शन के एक मामले में NAB यानि नेशनल एकाउंटेबिलिटी ब्यूरो ने के वॉरंट पर पाकिस्तान रेंजर्स ने गिरफ्तार कर लिया.. इमरान खान को इस्लामाबाद हाईकोर्ट परिसर से उस वक्त गिरफ्तार किया गया, जब वो एक केस में पेशी के लिए पहुंचे थे. आरोप है कि इमरान और उनकी पत्नी बुशरा बीबी ने यूनिवर्सिटी बनाने के लिए अल कादिर नाम का एक ट्रस्ट बनाया, जिसके ज़रिये करोड़ों रुपये की उगाही की गई. इसी मामले में NAB के आदेश पर पाकिस्तान रेंजर्स ने इमरान को गिरफ्तार कर लिया.
पाकिस्तान रेंजर्स इमरान खान को धक्के मारते हुए और गले से पकड़कर साथ ले गये। ..इन लोगों को रोकने में झड़प भी हुई। ..इमरान के वकील और कई समर्थक घायल हुए हैं। इस हरकत पर इस्लामाबाद हाईकोर्ट का भी पारा गरम हो गया है। उसने पाकिस्तान के गृह सचिव, एडवोकेट जनरल और अटार्नी जनरल...सबको 15 मिनट में तलब कर लिया। ...ये भी कहा कि नहीं आए तो फिर सीधे PM शहबाज़ पर एक्शन लेगा।
