IIFA awards are synonymous with promoting upcoming talent and giving them a legitimate platform to showcase their skills. This year the band which created a rage on the internet with their music video -- Evolution of Bollywood performed live at IIFA 2014 Awards ceremony.

Grapevine suggests that the decision to allow Penn Masala perform at the do was taken at the last minute, though everything was later taken care of and the band was highly excited to perform at the event. The popular video that went viral a few days back featured hit numbers right from Mera joota hai Japani and Hum tum ek kamre mein bandh ho from '50s and the '60s to the recent numbers like Badtameez Dil from the Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor starrer Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani.

With so many Bollywood celebs in attendance right from Shatrughan Sinha to Hrithik Roshan to Ranveer Singh, we are sure the actors had a gala time at this event with Penn Masala's performance.
