जहां एक और हम असंभव 100 करोड़ के वैक्सिनेशन के करीब हैं तो वहीं दूसरी तरफ ICMR यानी इंडियन काउंसिल ऑफ मेडिकल रिसर्च ने ड्रोन के जरिए मणिपुर के बिश्नुपुर से करंग स्वास्थ्य केंद्र, लोकटक लेक, तक वैक्सीन पहुंचाई. पूर्वोत्तर भारत में ‘ड्रोन आधारित वैक्सीन वितरण प्रणाली’ के लिए आईसीएमआर की पहल को लॉन्च करते हुए स्वास्थ्य मंत्री ने कहा, ’15 मिनट में 31 किमी की दूरी तय करके बिष्णुपुर जिला अस्पताल से करंग स्वास्थ्य केंद्र, लोकटक लेक, मणिपुर तक टीकों को पहुंचाया गया. इस दूरी में आमतौर पर 3-4 घंटे लगते हैं.
While one and we are close to the impossible 100 crore vaccination, on the other hand ICMR i.e. Indian Council of Medical Research carried the vaccine from Bishnupur in Manipur to Karang Health Center, Loktak Lake, by drone. Launching ICMR's initiative for 'Drone Based Vaccine Delivery System' in Northeast India, Health Minister said, 'Transporting vaccines from Bishnupur District Hospital to Karang Health Centre, Loktak Lake, Manipur, covering a distance of 31 km in 15 minute.
