Built in 1853, the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) is the largest stadium in the Southern Hemisphere and 10th biggest in the world boasting a capacity of over 100,000 people.

It’s a stadium rich in history and the scene of some of Australian sports most memorable moments. Outside of Lord's, the MCG is the only other stadium around the world to host the ICC Cricket World Cup Final more than once (1992 and 2015).

The MCG will come to life when it hosts the ICC Men's T20 World Cup for the first time from Monday 22 October - Sunday 13 November.

Melbourne will host four Super 12 matches featuring Australia, India, Pakistan, England, New Zealand and Afghanistan, as well as the Final on 13 November.
