'Hunterrr', written and directed by Harshvardhan Kulkarni, has an engaging screenplay because of the drama and the sex-heavy dialogues. The film is well directed but takes its time to get to the point. The drama that moves back and forth may confuse the audience. Nonetheless, the audience is bound to enjoy the sex-laden drama. The bold dialogues will find a liking amongst the younger audiences. As for acting, Gulshan Devaiah has done a great job as Mandar Ponkshe and he is completely in the skin of the character. Radhika Apte, who plays Tripti is very endearing and likable. Sai Tamhankar deserves praise for her bold role. Debutante Veera Deshmukh is a natural actress. Other supporting actors lend great support to the film, including the young actors who play Mandar, his friend and his cousin. When it comes to direction, Harshvardhan Kulkarni proves his prowess. The music and the background score complements the film very well. 'Hunterrr' will be a winner at the box office.
'Dilliwaali Zaalim Girlfriend' also releases this Friday. Starring Divyendu Sharma, Pradhuman Singh, Jackie Shroff, Ira Dubey and others. Scripted by Manu Rishi, the film's plot is very kiddish and weak. The audience's interest will fail to be piqued due to the film's script. The acting talent of Ira Dubey and Jackie Shroff has been under-utilized, whereas the other actors have little to contribute. Director Japinder Kaur is good as a director but couldn't do much due to the poor script. The music is the saving grace of the film, which has been composed by Yo Yo Honey Singh, Dr. Zeus, Meet Brothers Anjann and others. All-in-all, the film will prove to be a non-starter at the box office.
'Black Home' is the story of a remand home. The film makes a general statement about the atrocities against children at these homes including being forced into flesh trade. Ashutosh Rana, Manoj Joshi, Chitrashi Rawat, Achint Kaur and other actors are all very good. The film on the whole is a very depressing story. The film will be liked by the class audience but will not be appreciated by the masses hence will not make much of a box office impact.
