We had recently reported that SS Rajamouli initially wanted to cast Sridevi as Sivagami Devi in his blockbuster franchise Baahubali however, not many know why the talented actress refused to do the movie.

Reportedly, Sri refused to come on board as the makers were not able to meet her remuneration demands. We hear that the veteran actress demanded a whopping sum of Rs. 6 crore. When Sridevi refused, the makers roped in Ramya Krishnan, who delivered a power-packed performance and charged only Rs. 2.5 crore.

Sridevi chose to star in Tamil movie Puli instead. Puli bombed at the box-office while Baahubali: The Conclusion has turned out to be the biggest Indian blockbuster ever. Sri surely must be regretting her decision now.
