The first poster of Farah Khan's upcoming film Happy New Year is out now!

The first poster of the film is an overtly colorized poster that sees the ensemble cast of Shahrukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Abhishekh Bachchan, Boman Irani and Vivaan Shah.

Happy New Year is this year's big Diwali release and we hope that Farah can erase the disastrous Tees Maar Khan from our scarred memories with this one.

In the film, it should be interesting to see Vivaan Shah, the youngest kid of veteran actors Naseeruddin and Ratna Pathak Shah. Vivaan was first seen in a small but crucial role in Vishal Bhardwaj's edgy Saath Khoon Maaf and we are looking forward to see what he does in this mainstream role, that was earlier offered to Saif Ali Khan.

The poster brings to mind the Abbas-Mustaan 2012 debacle Players, in terms of its looks but we hope the film is a far cry from that.

The social media team of Happy New Year have managed to create a buzz online but let's see if they're able to sustain it.
