श्रीनगर में G20 टूरिज्म वर्किंग ग्रुप की बैठक सोमवार से शुरू हो चुकी है । हालांकि शुक्रवार तक, तीन देशों- चीन, तुर्की और सऊदी अरब ने रजिस्ट्रेशन नहीं कराया था । बीजिंग से पीटीआई की एक रिपोर्ट में चीनी विदेश मंत्रालय के प्रवक्ता वांग वेनबिन के हवाले से कहा गया है: ‘चीन विवादित क्षेत्र पर किसी भी प्रकार की जी20 बैठक आयोजित करने का दृढ़ता से विरोध करता है । हम ऐसी बैठकों में शामिल नहीं होंगे ।
बता दें अगस्त 2019 में राज्य को दो केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों - जम्मू-कश्मीर और लद्दाख में विभाजित किया गया था और संविधान के अनुच्छेद 370 के तहत इसकी विशेष स्थिति को रद्द कर दिया गया था । इसके बाद से श्रीनगर जी20 बैठक जम्मू और कश्मीर में पहली बड़ी इंटरनेशनल इवेंट होगी ।
इसके अलावा फिल्म टूरिज्म को बढ़ावा देने के लिए एक बड़ा कार्यक्रम भी आयोजित किया जाएगा, जिसे यूटी प्रशासन पिछले कुछ वर्षों में बड़े पैमाने पर बढ़ावा दे रहा है ।

The G20 Tourism Working Group meeting in Srinagar has started from Monday. However, till Friday, three countries - China, Turkey and Saudi Arabia - had not registered. A PTI report from Beijing quoted Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin as saying: 'China firmly opposes holding any kind of G20 meeting on the disputed territory. We will not attend such meetings.
Let us tell you that in August 2019, the state was divided into two union territories - Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh and its special status was revoked under Article 370 of the Constitution. Since then the Srinagar G20 meeting will be the first major international event in Jammu and Kashmir.
Apart from this, a big program will also be organized to promote film tourism, which the UT administration has been promoting in a big way in the last few years.
