I’m sharing with you a clip from my film Starfish in which I performed for 4 minutes at a stretch. This has by far been the most challenging sequence for me because my character undergoes a drug overdose. It took me a lot of time to get into that state of mind since I’ve never experienced anything close to it. They say it takes time to get into the skin of a character but they never say how difficult it is to get out of it. This one has affected me mentally and I broke down almost every night for the following weeks. I’ve put my heart and soul into performing Tara, and I hope you all can experience the same emotions on screen. Here’s the uncut and unfiltered version of the sequence."
