Synopsis: The story is based in a village, which is ruled by a tyrant zamindar, Yuvraj Singh. Fed up of his atrocities & cruel behavior, Durgadevi, a commoner takes a stand against him and promises her fellow villagers to get rid of the tyrant rule. She decides to fund her brother-in-law's (Kamal Sadanah) studies & make him a lawyer, in order to help them the villagers restore their lands that were illegally captured by Yuvraj Singh. Will Durgadevi succeed in fulfilling her promise?
