Exclusive: Rajkumar Hirani On PK Controversy | Anti-Fakeness In All Religions | Aamir Khan

In this Bollywood Hungama exclusive with Content Head Broadband Faridoon Shahryar, Rajkumar breaks his silence on the controversies surrounding his recently released film 'PK', ranging from being critical of just Hinduism and going soft on religions to showing 'disrespect' to Lord Shiva to encouraging the idea of 'Love Jihad' and a lot more. Mr Hirani speaks about the film crossing Rs 300 Crores barrier but why it is the appreciation for the film which is far more important for him more than anything else. He reasons why the film is Anti-fakeness in all religions and not one religion in particular. He clarifies on rumours that he along with the team of 'PK' donated money at certain religious sites. He also made it clear that Aamir Khan was an actor in the film and his religious identity should not be considered while judging the film, his performance and the message in the film. He then explains in detail that the first draft of 'PK' was dropped after he and co-writer Abhijat Joshi saw Hollywood film 'Inception' and realized that they have also written a similar idea. He then reveals that they changed the draft again after they wrote stuff that bore similarities with the play 'Kanji Viruddh Kanji', that was ultimately adapted in the film 'OMG Oh My God'. Lastly, He reveals that the final scene, featuring Aamir Khan and Ranbir Kapoor, was shot just a month before the film's release in order to give the film a positive touch in the end. Don't miss!
