Exclusive: Imran Abbas | Pernia Qureshi | Muzaffar Ali's Full Interview On Jaanisaar

In their Bollywood Hungama exclusive interview, Imran Abbas, Pernia Qureshi and director Muzaffar Ali talk about their film 'Jaanisaar'. Imran and Pernia reveal that the feedback they have received is very encouraging. Both also admit that they signed the film chiefly because it was being helmed by Muzaffar Ali. Muzaffar Ali explains what made him take up such a subject and base it in 1870s Lucknow. Pernia explains how Muzaffar Ali's cult film 'Umrao Jaan' has inspired generations, especially actors. Muzaffar Ali praises both the actors for living their respective parts. Imran reveals that he was a part of a stage adaptation of 'Umrao Jaan' in Pakistan and he shares his interesting experiences. Muzaffar Ali explains that content is important than technique and observes the changes he observed in making films in today's times vis-à-vis the 80s. Imran explains how he prepared for the role and got the accent correct, prompting Pernia and Muzaffar Ali to pull his leg. Muzaffar Ali at this point also reveals a fascinating trivia about late Farooq Sheikh when he was shooting for the film 'Gaman'. Pernia praises Imran's looks and his acting talent and then explains how she managed to play the challenging role. Both then reveal that from now on, they would like to be a part of films boasting of good scripts and good team. Muzaffar Ali once again pulls Imran's legs and raises laughs. Don't miss!
