केंद्रीय जांच एजेंसी ईडी (ED) ने नौकरी के बदले जमीन ‘घोटाला’ मामले में धनशोधन संबंधी जांच के सिलसिले में बिहार के कई शहरों एवं कई अन्य जगहों पर छापेमारी की | छापेमारी बिहार के पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री लालू प्रसाद यादव की तीन पुत्रियों और राष्ट्रीय जनता दल (राजद) के नेताओं के परिसर में भी की गई | एजेंसी के सूत्रों ने बताया कि छापों के दौरान 53 लाख रुपये नगद, 1900 अमेरिकी डॉलर, करीब 540 ग्राम स्वर्ण और सोने के 1.5 किलोग्राम जेवरात को जब्त किया गया है | बिहार के उप-मुख्यमंत्री तेजस्वी यादव को CBI ने पूछताछ के लिए दूसरी बार समन जारी किया है। पहली बार तेजस्वी अपनी पत्नी की तबीयत खराब होने की बात कह कर पेश नहीं हुए थे। नौकरी के बदले जमीन घोटाले के मामले में ED इस समय लालू यादव के परिजनों के ठिकानों पर छापेमारी कर रही है।

The central probe agency ED raided several cities and other places in Bihar in connection with the money laundering probe in the job-for-land 'scam' case. Raids were also conducted at the premises of three daughters of former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav and leaders of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD). Agency sources said that Rs 53 lakh in cash, USD 1900, about 540 grams of gold and 1.5 kg of gold jewelery were seized during the raids. Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav has been summoned by the CBI for the second time for questioning. For the first time, Tejashwi did not appear saying that his wife was ill. ED is currently raiding the residences of Lalu Yadav's family members in the land scam case.
