अमृतसर के रहने वाले इकबाल सिंह ने इन लाइनों को सच कर दिखाया है... वर्ष 2009 में सरदार इकबाल सिंह एक सड़क दुर्घटना का शिकार हो गए... जिसके बाद उनके शरीर के 75 प्रतिशत हिस्से ने काम करना बंद कर दिया... घर खर्च चलाने के लिए कमाई का कोई ज़रिया नजर नहीं आ रहा था... पत्नी भी गर्भवती थीं...लेकिन ऐसे मुश्किल हालात में भी इकबाल सिंह ने हार नहीं मानी... और बुरे वक्त का सामना करने की ठान ली... दोनों पैर गंवा चुके इकबाल सिंह ने ZOMATO से जुड़कर FOOD Delivery का काम शुरू किया... आंधी हो या तूफ़ान, तेज़ गर्मी हो या कड़ाके की ठंड या फिर भारी बारिश... इकबाल सिंह अपनी Tricycle पर निकलते हैं और हर हाल में खाना Deliver करते हैं... अमृतसर में लोग उन्हें ZOMATO वाले सरदार जी के नाम से जानते हैं...इकबाल के इस जज्बे और हौंसले को देखकर लोग हैरान भी होते हैं और उनकी तारीफ भी करते हैं । दिव्यांग होने के बावजूद भी इकबाल सिंह अपने परिवार का खर्च और जिम्मेदारी, जिस तरह से संभाल रहे हैं, वो ऐसे लोगों के लिए मिसाल बन गए हैं, जो हर बात पर अपनी किस्मत को कोसते हैं ।
