पर्यावरण को नुकसान ना पहुंचाते हुए,औद्योगिक विकास की राह पर आगे बढ़ना ही, पूरे विश्व की समस्या है। औद्योगिक विकास की कीमत, पृथ्वी के जलवायु को चुकानी पड़ रही है, जिसका बुरा असर पूरी दुनिया पर पड़ रहा है। जलवायु परिवर्तन एक ऐसी समस्या है जो धीरे-धीरे महसूस होती है, लेकिन घातक असर दिखा रही है। जलवायु परिवर्तन पर चर्चा के लिए होने वाली COP की 28वीं बैठक यानी COP 28 इस वर्ष UAE में चल रही हैं, जिसमें इस बार 160 देश शामिल हुए हैं। इस बैठक में शामिल होने के लिए प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी भी दुबई पहुंचे हैं। प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने यहां पर अन्य देशों को संबोधित किया, जिसमें जलवायु परिवर्तन की वजह से हो रही दिक्कतों के लिए उन्होंने कुछ विकसित देशों को जिम्मेदार बताया। उन्होंने किसी भी देश का नाम लिए बिना कहा कि चंद देशों के किए की कीमत पूरी दुनिया को चुकानी पड़ रही है।
