भले ही आम आदमी पार्टी MCD में बहुमत हासिल करने में कामयाब हो गई. लेकिन इसे प्रचंड जीत तो नहीं ही कहा जा सकता. एमसीडी में 15 साल से काबिज बीजेपी को AAP ने बाहर का रास्ता दिखा दिया है. 250 सीटों वाली एमसीडी में बहुमत का आंकड़ा 126 है, आम आदमी पार्टी ने 134 सीटें हासिल की हैं. बीजेपी को 104 सीटें मिली हैं. कांग्रेस को सिर्फ 9 सीटें ही हाथ लग पाईं हैं, 3 सीटों पर निर्दलीय उम्मीदवारों की जीत हुई है.

Even though the Aam Aadmi Party managed to get majority in MCD. But it cannot be called a grand victory. AAP has shown the way out to the BJP, which has been in MCD for 15 years. The majority mark in the 250-seat MCD is 126, with the Aam Aadmi Party securing 134 seats. BJP has got 104 seats. Congress has been able to get only 9 seats, independent candidates have won 3 seats.
