आज बीजेपी ने कर्नाटक में अपना चुनावी घोषणापत्र जारी किया है । जिसमें कई लुभावने वादे किये गये हैं । जिनमें सबसे ज्यादा चर्चा हो रही है यूनिफॉर्म सिविल कोड यानी UCC की । बीजेपी ने वादा किया है कि अगर वो कर्नाटक में जीती तो UCC लागू कर देगी । आज हम बीजेपी के इस UCC लागू करने वाले वादे का DNA टेस्ट करेंगे । यूनिफॉर्म सिविल कोड का मतलब होता है - भारत के हर नागरिक के लिए एक समान कानून । सवाल ये है कि क्या UCC सिर्फ किसी एक राज्य में लागू हो सकता है ? या फिर ये सिर्फ एक चुनावी वादा है..आज हम इस सवाल का कानूनी और संवैधानिक विश्लेषण करेंगे ।

Today BJP has released its election manifesto in Karnataka. In which many tempting promises have been made. In which the most discussed is Uniform Civil Code i.e. UCC. BJP has promised that if it wins in Karnataka, it will implement UCC. Today we will do DNA test of BJP's promise to implement UCC. Uniform Civil Code means - Uniform law for every citizen of India. The question is whether UCC can be applicable in only one state? Or is it just an election promise.. Today we will do legal and constitutional analysis of this question.
