इजरायल-हमास युद्ध के बीच मुस्लिम देशों के संगठन Organisation of Islamic Cooperation की एक बैठक बुलाई गई। सऊदी अरब के जेद्दा में हो रही इस बैठक में पहुंचे ईरान ने, गाजा पट्टी पर हो रहे इजरायली हमलों को देखते हुए, संगठन से उस पर प्रतिबंध लगाने की अपील की है। ईरान की मांग थी कि OIC, इजरायल के साथ तेल समेत हर तरह का व्यापार बंद कर दे। यही नहीं ईरान चाहता था कि OIC, इजरायल के राजदूतों को भी अपने देश से निकाल दे।

A meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation of Muslim countries was called amid the Israel-Hamas war. Iran, which was present at the meeting being held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, has appealed to the organization to impose sanctions in view of the Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip. Iran's demand was that OIC should stop all trade with Israel, including oil. Not only this, Iran wanted the OIC to also expel Israeli ambassadors from its country.
