तलवार लेकर ये लोग पहले पुलिस के सामने आ गए, पुलिस ने इन लोगों को जब रोकने की कोशिश की तो उन पर भी हमलावर हो गए. इसके बाद पुलिस जैसे ही थोड़ी पीछे हटी, इन्होंने उस वैन का दरवाजा खोल दिया जिसमें आफताब मौजूद था. यह हमला शाम करीब 6.45 बजे हुआ. हमलावरों ने कहा कि हमारी बहन-बेटियां आज के समय में सुरक्षित नहीं हैं. ऐसे में हमारी बहन के 35 टुकड़े करने वाले के हम 70 टुकड़े करेंगे.
