क्या हमारे देश में किसी क्षेत्र के बहुसंख्यक, अपने इलाके के स्कूलों की छुट्टियां तय करते हैं? ये एक ऐसा सवाल है जिसके बारे में आपने कभी नहीं सुना होगा। आपने तो 27 नवंबर से पहले ये भी नहीं सुना था, कि किसी राज्य ने धर्म के आधार पर छुट्टियों की लिस्ट से हिंदू त्योहारों को हटा दिया है। बिहार सरकार के शिक्षा विभाग ने सामान्य स्कूलों और उर्दू स्कूलों की छुट्टियों की अलग-अलग लिस्ट बनाई है। उर्दू स्कूलों की छुट्टियों वाली लिस्ट से महाशिवरात्रि और जन्माष्टमी जैसे त्योहारों को हटा दिया गया है। क्या उर्दू स्कूलों में पढ़ने वाले गैर मुस्लिम बच्चों को जन्माष्टमी या शिवरात्रि जैसे त्योहार मनाने से रोका जा रहा है? यही नहीं बिहार सरकार के मुताबिक मुस्लिम बहुल क्षेत्र का कोई स्कूल, अगर साप्ताहिक अवकाश रविवार के बजाए, शुक्रवार यानी जुमे के दिन करना चाहता है, तो वो भी कर सकता है। यानि क्या बिहार सरकार ने किसी क्षेत्र के बहुसंख्यकों को ये अधिकार दे दिया है कि वो अपने हिसाब से अपने इलाके के स्कूलों की व्यवस्था बदल सकते हैं? आज हम बिहार सरकार की मुस्लिम तुष्टिकरण वाली छुट्टी पॉलिटिक्स का विश्लेषण करेंगे।
