कांग्रेस के वरिष्ठ नेता गुलाम नबी आजाद ने शुक्रवार को पार्टी की प्राथमिक सदस्यता से इस्तीफा दे दिया है. इसके बाद कांग्रेस ने कहा, यह अत्यंत दुखद और दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण है कि जब कांग्रेस महंगाई, बेरोजगारी और ध्रुवीकरण के खिलाफ लड़ रही है तब यह इस्तीफा हुआ है. पार्टी महासचिव जयराम रमेश ने कहा कि इस्तीफे में कही गई बातें तथ्यों के मुताबिक नहीं हैं, इसका समय भी ठीक नहीं है. अपने पांच पन्नों के इस्तीफ़े में गुलाम नबी आज़ाद ने कांग्रेस और राहुल गांधी पर ताबड़तोड़ बमबारी कर दी।
