साल 1998 को आज ही के दिन यानि की 11 मई को राजस्थान के पोखरण में परमाणु परीक्षण किया गया था. इस ऑपरेशन को ऑपरेशन 'शक्ति' का नाम दिया गया था. जिसके बाद अमेरिका ने भारत पर कड़े प्रतिबंध लगाए थे.

In the year 1998, on this day i.e. on May 11, a nuclear test was done in Pokhran, Rajasthan. This operation was named Operation 'Shakti'. After which America had imposed strict restrictions on India.
