भारत की परंपरा में एक बेहद सुखद बदलाव आया है. पूरा देश आजकल नवरात्रि का त्योहार मना रहा है इस दौरान शक्ति के नौ रूपों की पूजा होती है और पश्चिम बंगाल में इस त्योहार को दुर्गा पूजा कहते हैं. लेकिन अब तक विरोधाभास ये था कि दुर्गा पूजा के पंडालों में दुर्गा पूजा सिर्फ पुरुष पुजारी ही कर सकते थे लेकिन बंगाल में अब ये प्रथा बदल दी गई है.
