जिस दिन पवित्र अमरनाथ यात्रा की शुरुआत हुई, उसी दिन जम्मू के रियासी में एक मंदिर पर हमला करके, उसकी मूर्तियां तोड़ दी गईं। रियासी के धरमाड़ी में 29 जून को कुछ अज्ञात लोगों ने एक शिव मंदिर पर हमला किया। इस मंदिर की मूर्तियां खंडित कर दीं। ये मंदिर करीब 11 वर्ष पुराना था। इस मंदिर में ना सिर्फ मूर्तियां तोड़ी गईं, बल्कि मंदिर को अंदर से नुकसान पहुंचाने की कोशिश की गई। मंदिर पर हमले की जानकारी दर्शन के लिए पहुंचे श्रद्धालुओं को मिली, जिसके बाद पूरे इलाके में तनाव फैल गया है।

The idols of this temple were destroyed. This temple was about 11 years old. Not only were the idols broken in this temple, but attempts were made to damage the temple from inside. Information about the attack on the temple was received by the devotees who had come for darshan, after which tension has spread in the entire area.
