अफ़ग़ानिस्तान से लौटते समय अमेरिकी सैनिक लगभग 6 लाख छोटे हथियार भी छोड़ गए थे। इन हथियारों में पिस्तौल, राइफल, ग्रेनेड लॉन्चर, कार्बाइन और मशीनगन भी थीं, जिनको तालिबान के लड़ाकों ने हथिया लिया था। और अब उन्हीं हथियारों के साथ पाकिस्तान के आतंकी संगठन अपनी ताक़त का प्रदर्शन कर रहे हैं
