Dirty Politics, Badmashiyaan, Hey Bro and Coffee Bloom have all seen a slow opening at the box office. Renowned Film Critic and Trade Analyst, Komal Nahta, reviews the films and talks about what works and doesn't work for the films that released this Friday. The common problem with all the films as cited by Mr. Nahta is that all of them are highly predictable and commonplace, leaving no room for what more to expect for the audience at the theatre. 'Dirty Politics', directed by K.C. Bokadia is a loosely-based on the Bhanwari Devi case in Rajasthan, and is one that has been seen before. 'Badmashiyaan' revolves around a gold digger, who falls in love with three different men, mostly for money. 'Hey Bro' is the story of non-identical twins, separated at birth and how they meet once they've grown up. Lastly, 'Coffee Bloom' is the story of star-crossed lovers who meet in different circumstances once again. Mr. Nahta adds that this film will only appeal to the film festival-goers as it has very little mass appeal. All in all, the four releases of the week have had a very slow opening and there is little chance for them to have a great run atthe box office.
