मुंबई के धारावी में बनी 25 साल पुरानी मस्जिद को लेकर विवाद खड़ा हो गया है। धारावी में महबूब-ए-सुबानिया मस्जिद के 'अवैध पार्ट' को तोड़ने के लिए बीएमसी की टीम पहुंची थी. जैसी ही टीम मस्जिद के पास पहुंची, वैसे ही हजारों की भीड़ ने टीम को घेर लिया...गाड़ियों को तोड़ा गया..जमकर नारेबाजी की गई...हंगामा इतना बढ़ा कि पुलिस और BMC को एक्शन रोकना पड़ा. हालांकि मुस्लिम पक्ष ने भरोसा दिया वो खुद ही अवैध मस्जिद के हिस्से को गिरा देंगे..

As soon as the team reached the mosque, a crowd of thousands surrounded the team...vehicles were broken...slogans were raised...the ruckus increased so much that the police and BMC had to stop the action. However, the Muslim side assured that they will demolish the illegal part of the mosque themselves.
