जौनपुर के पूर्व सांसद और बाहुबली नेता धनंजय सिंह को इलाहाबाद हाईकोर्ट से बड़ा झटका लगा है. हाईकोर्ट ने धनंजय सिंह की जमानत से जुड़ी याचिका पर सुनवाई करते हुए नमामि गंगे प्रोजेक्ट मैनेजर के अपहरण मामले में जौनपुर की स्पेशल कोर्ट एमपी/एमएलए से मिली सात साल की सजा को स्थगित करने से इंकार कर दिया है. लिहाजा धनंजय सिंह अब लोकसभा चुनाव नहीं लड़ पाएंगे.

Former Jaunpur MP and strongman leader Dhananjay Singh has received a big blow from Allahabad High Court. While hearing the bail petition of Dhananjay Singh, the High Court has refused to postpone the seven-year sentence given by the Special Court MP/MLA of Jaunpur in the kidnapping case of Namami Gange Project Manager. Therefore Dhananjay Singh will no longer be able to contest the Lok Sabha elections.
