Details Of Sonam Kapoor’s Wedding Cards Revealed!

For a long time now speculation has been rife about Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja's wedding which is scheduled to happen on May 8. There has been an official statement confirming the wedding from the families. The statement reads as:
“The Kapoor and Ahuja families take great joy and pride, in announcing the marriage of Sonam and Anand. The wedding will take place on the 8th of May in Mumbai. Since it is an intimate affair, we request you to respect the family’s need for privacy. Thank you for all your blessings and love as we celebrate this special moment in our lives.”

Now the official wedding card has surfaced and from the looks of it - the wedding is going to be a gala affair. Here are the details:

There are 3 cards - one for the Mehendi ceremony, one for the Wedding ceremony and the third for the wedding party. The cards have been beautifully designed with floral designs. The details are as follows:

Mehendi card
The card provides information that the Mehendi will be held on May 7th, 4 pm onwards at Sunteck Signature Island, BKC. The dress code given for the event is Indian festive - shades of white.

Wedding Ceremony card:
The card provides information that the wedding ceremony will be held on May 8th from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm followed by lunch at Rockdale and the address for the same is mentioned as 226, Bandstand, Bandra. The dress code given for the event is Indian traditional.

Wedding Party card:
The card provides information that the wedding party will be held on May 8th , 8 pm onwards at The Leela, Mumbai The dress code given for the event is Indian or Western formal. It is also indirectly mentioned on the card that the presence of the invitee is the only gift needed.
