वन एवं पर्यावरण मंत्री साइकिल से ही अपने काफिले के साथ पटना ZOO पहुंच गए। हालांकि, उनका यह कार्यक्रम पहले से तय था। लेकिन, वन विभाग के अधिकारियों ने यह नहीं सोचा था कि तेज प्रताप साइकिल से पहुंच जाएंगे। पटना ZOO पहुंचते ही उन्होंने रिनोवेटेड जू कैंटीन का लोकार्पण किया। वहीं असम स्टेट जू से लाए गए काले तेंदुआ को पटना ZOO को सौंपा।

Forest and Environment Minister along with his convoy reached Patna ZOO by bicycle. However, his program was already fixed. But, the Forest Department officials did not think that Tej Pratap would reach on a bicycle. As soon as he reached Patna ZOO, he inaugurated the renovated zoo canteen. Whereas the black panther brought from Assam State Zoo was handed over to Patna ZOO.
